The design for Peet’s Coffee, whether at a brick and mortar location or airside, is one that conveys the notion of the Approachable Expert. Channeling the spirit of the Master Roasters and innovation ethos, comes through locally proud and knowledgeable baristas. At Peet’s, the baristas and team are put forward, on center stage, with counters lowered and obstructions removed. The Cockpit, a design layout developed by Arcsine for Peet’s Coffee stores beyond the airport, propels the theater of espresso and tap coffee forward and toward the guests.

The underlying palette and features that have made Peet’s Coffee iconic have been re-tooled and given new life at this and other OAK airside locations. The dark wood of the original Berkeley Walnut & Vine location is accented along a warm, lighter wood at the floor. Marble countertops showcase prepared grab-n-go offerings and a lovely pastry display. Digital menu boards, trimmed with wood bring the clarity and functionality of digital menus with warm, inviting details.
