Rich with handcrafted details, soft muted tones and warm mixed metals, the design of the Bernardus Lodge & Spa villas and suites reflects the luxe yet relaxed atmosphere of Carmel Valley, California.  Arcsine was selected to design the guestroom baths as well as source additional furnishings for the guestroom suites for a total of eight new buildings consisting of 14 suites and two villas.

Walking into the villas, guests discover hammered bronze, antique silver and brass details against a metallic, textured wall covering.  Plum and warm orange hues punctuate the neutral color scheme of the suite common area, whilst all eyes rise to an elegant iron chandelier suspended in the room’s center.  Each living room, bedroom and terrace has its own fireplace, adding natural light and warmth to the interiors.  The bath area and private terrace features walls of handcrafted, celadon green tiles.  Organic shapes and soft, textural details in luxurious materials define the space.
