BÉ.STEAK.Ă, is an elevated yet approachable Italian steakhouse in Campbell, CA, helmed by renowned chef Jeffrey Stout. Details throughout the 185-seat space create points of connection and the joining of unexpected materials and textures to form a cohesive aesthetic. A renovated exterior gives way to the minimal feel of the entry, adorned with pendant lighting and a custom outsized Chitarra (a specialized pasta cutting tool) in the hallway leading to a large kitchen-view window from which to watch handmade pasta being made in the working kitchen.
The color scheme varies by room but overall features a neutral Italian coastal palate, complementing light walnut features. In the main dining room, sheer layered fabric panels span the length of a windowed wall, allowing natural light to softly fill the space. The bar area features a series of arches, enclaves, and cutouts to create the traditional intimacy of steakhouse booths, yet in a more contemporary and open approach. A quartz-based marble bar counter sits atop a paneled walnut wrapped bar. Custom tabletops are adorned with white linen tablecloths and feature a unique custom design that lets the fabric feed into slots near the edge of the table, framing the fabric-covered dining surface with wood.
