Beautiful and Sustainable
Fireclay Tile
Accessible Inspiration
While its first and original showroom in San Francisco focuses more on the design community, Fireclay’s second showroom in Berkeley is purposefully geared towards homeowners and designers looking for accessible inspiration for all their tile needs. The new showroom is located in the heart of West Berkeley, which is known as an artist’s paradise and shopping destination with world-class restaurants, retailers, and art galleries, all offering creative merchandise of high quality and contemporary design.
With Fireclay as the first tile company to be certified as a B Corp, Arcsine focused on bringing in design elements with functionality, sustainability, and beauty in mind. Each element, from the shelving units to the lighting to the millwork, is presented to enhance the tiles and allow guests to gain inspiration and knowledge.
A More Sustainable World
To support Fireclay’s B Corp status and overall mission for sustainability, Arcsine sourced environmentally conscious materials from vendors committed to a more sustainable world. As an interactive workspace for homeowners and designers, Fireclay’s new showroom celebrates the joy and power of intentional and sustainable design.
This exciting showroom truly brings ‘Tile to the People’ to life! Locally handmade tile is brought forward in this inviting, tactile environment where designers and their clients get to engage with the wonderful Fireclay team.
Bringing Tiles to Life
As homeowners, designers, artists, and curious guests enter the showroom, they’ll be instantly greeted by Fireclay’s handmade tiles, all displayed on eye-catching wooden shelving units. Also known as their “color wall,” these shelving units hold all the glazed and glass tile options as well as their current feature collection in collaboration with Block Shop. With the space creating a natural flow, people can admire the tiles and transfer them over to the center table to help bring their home project to life.
Focused on textures and patterns, Arcsine affixed Fireclay’s white tiles to the back wall—showcasing all different shapes to demonstrate the endless layout possibilities. To maximize efficiency, the showroom’s custom millwork features movable tiled panels so guests can view and interact with many options in one place.
