Hotel Mac

Point Richmond, CA

This project involved the renovation of a small 3-story office building into a quaint extended-stay boutique hotel in the coastal, historic neighborhood of Point Richmond. The design goal was to create five high-end living units with an experience that would surpass the amenities of a traditional hotel stay. Arcsine was asked to carefully select finishes and detailing that would create a classic aesthetic and cozy residential like feel. Each unit consists of a fully-equipped kitchen, with custom cabinetry and high-end appliances; small dining table, fl at screen TV, contextual pieces of wall art, restrooms with painted bead board and large walk-in showers. A few of the units have rear-facing decks for relaxing outside. The largest unit, located on the second
fl oor, has a separate living room with additional built-in storage and room for more guests.
